Lake Lanier Homes Sold September 2009
September 2009 home sales for Lake Lanier showed signs of improvment from previous months. With the drought still in effect and the lake posting record low numbers 20 homes sold ranging from 45k – 648k. Great deals are still available on Lanier and tend to come from prequalified buyers able to close within 30 days on distressed properties. One house originally listed for $849k and sold for 200k less after 76 days on the market.
With the water back over full pool and our buyers market starting to show signs of leveling off the next couple months are ripe for purchasing your Lake Lanier dream home. Going into Spring with a full lake will surley bid well for sellers and a little tight for buyers.
